Kinder Institute is a not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) agency established to serve the special needs child through innovative programs focused on early intervention and the “whole child.” Kinder Institute is committed to the success of the infant, toddler, child or teen with special needs. With focus on early intervention and the “whole child,” the institute provides a nurturing environment that unites many areas of care under one roof to meet the diverse needs of the individual child and strengthen the special-needs family. At Kinder Institute, our goal is to unlock the potential within every child. We do this by providing an innovative approach to treatment, which includes a united team, unrivaled services, and a unique treatment system.

A United Team:

At Kinder Institute, a multi-disciplinary team of professionals – each representing a different specialty – works together as a unit focused on the specific needs of the individual child and family. Each professional works within his or her specialty to achieve a cohesive goal, and all services are provided under one roof.

Unrivaled Services:

Early Intervention and Detection: With a team of Infant Care Specialists, Kinder Institute is one of the only agencies in Central Florida equipped to help this dramatically under-served population. Our commitment to early intervention comes with the belief, “the earlier, the better”.

Positive Parenting Program (Triple P): Kinder Institute is one of the only agencies in Florida with clinicians certified to provide this internationally renowned parenting solution system. “Triple P” equips parents with proven and unique problem-solving skills.

Whole-Child Treatment System: Kinder Institute is one of the only agencies in the area that offers a broad range of services targeting the mental, social, emotional and physical well-being of a child under one roof.

Emerging and Holistic Services: Kinder Institute complements traditional treatment plans with new and innovative services that have emerged in recent years, which may include massage therapy; relaxation techniques; and other holistic treatments.

Family Involvement: Kinder Institute’s treatment plans involve not just treating the child, but strengthening the entire family.

A Unique System:

Kinder Institute has taken away the layers of bureaucracy that exist in many current programs and replaced them with personal service. A Personal Care Coordinator is assigned to each family so there’s always someone knowledgeable, available and familiar to help with questions or concerns.
